Plasmann Studios
Plasmann Studios is a metal arts house specializing in original and custom-made metal artwork for individuals, galleries and institutions. We're located on the edge of the Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco CA, the largest artist colony in the country. Plasmann Studios is both a cultural milieu of San Francisco and a zeitgeist of today's art scene. Although the name Plasmann Studios is brand new (formerly called Dan Das Mann Studios), we're now in our 7th year creating dynamic work for upscale, contemporary homes, corporate environments and international galleries.
Established in 1997, Plasmann Studios has grown from a small waterfront shop in an abandoned neighborhood into a vibrant community of artists with worldwide commissions. In early 2003 we formally reorganized as Plasmann Studios in order to continue bringing you Dan Das Mann original designs as well as those of other artists associated with the studios at 710 Innes. Sparks flying, metal vaporizing, humans and metal in whimsical interplay. These distinctive sculptures are cut utilizing a plasma arc twice as hot as the surface of the sun. Steel, brass or copper reflecting light and casting shadow, these designs fuel and excite the imagination.
